Learning Resource Centre Administrator

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Resource Administrator who will join our highly professional and dedicated SBS (School Business Service) team under the management of the Executive School Business Manager.  The successful candidate will have a firm commitment to upholding the ethos and values of our school; have a professional approach to staff development; high expectations; and a determination to succeed.  The appointed person will work closely with or Literacy Lead and English Faculty to promote and improve the standard of reading across the school.

This is a well-regarded post in our school, where the appointed person will become a key member of our SBS staff.  The appointed person will be very visible to our students and play an important role in their development.

Cover Supervisor

Full Time, Permanent Contract

37.00 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor who will join our highly professional and dedicated teaching team under the management of the Assistant Headteacher (Personal Development & Welfare).  The successful candidate will have a firm commitment to upholding the ethos and values of our school; have a professional approach to staff development; high expectations; and a determination to succeed.  The appointed person will supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher, under the guidance of teaching or senior staff; they will implement work programmes, manage routine student behaviour and assist students in relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures; they will support after-clubs and activities within the hours of their contract. 

This is a well-regarded post in our school, where the appointed person will become a key member of our Learning and Teaching staff.  We have a highly developed Achievement and Positive Behaviour Policy which all staff follow and all students understand.  Behavioural and attitudinal issues are small in number but rapidly and rigorously dealt with.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Teacher of Computing to join the Computing Department, which sits within the Mathematics Faculty.  Working alongside the Head of Computing, the successful candidate will have a firm commitment to raising whole-school achievement; have a professional approach to staff development; high expectations; and a determination to succeed. The successful applicant will have the ability to successfully and effectively teach Computing in Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Teacher of Physics to join our very successful Science Faculty.  The successful candidate will have a firm commitment to raising whole-school achievement; have a professional approach to staff development; high expectations; and a determination to succeed.  Applications are welcome from teachers who can join us at Easter 2024, as well as from teachers who can start in September 2024.  

The faculty is at an exciting point in its development and enjoying considerable success in public exams at all levels.  We are looking to appoint a forward thinking, able professional to join the Faculty in its continuing development.  This post would suit any well-qualified and ambitious teacher of Physics.
