4 A student is considered to have entered for the English Baccalaureate if they have entered English, maths, at least two sciences, a language and either history or geography. Our policy allows students a free choice over whether to study the EBacc route.

1 This figure tells you how much progress students at Sir Graham Balfour made in their post 16 studies compared to similar students across England. 2 A levels are graded A*-E with an A* worth 60 points, A worth 50, B worth 40 and so on. Applied General qualifications replaced BTEC level 3 qualifications and now include an examination.
