I am so immensely proud of our Year 13 and Year 11 students, who have this week received their examination results.  This past year has been extremely challenging for everyone. For these young people especially, though, they have had to deal with untold pressure, uncertainty and anxiety.  They have shown courage, determination and positivity throughout and I feel honoured and humbled to have witnessed their resilient response to everything they have faced.  They have supported each other and have enjoyed the warm support of their teachers and families to help steer them through this year. 

A few of our sixth formers have chosen to go travelling, a few have taken up graduate level apprenticeships, and the majority have opted for the best, Russell Group universities for the next stage of their studies.  Our Year 11s are either coming back into Sixth Form or going off to apprenticeships or courses at a wide number of Colleges.

Whatever the next stage of their journey, we wish them all the luck in the world.  They go with their heads held high, knowing that their results are the equal of any who have gone before, or of those who follow in their footsteps.
